Back in April, a young lady named Abbie Jacobson found a purse in a Maine Sam’s Club containing more than $4,000. She turned it in to the local police department, who traced a debit card in the purse to its owner, Ra Rim, a recent immigrant from Cambodia. Rim been at the Sam’s Club getting presents to take back to Cambodia on a visit when she lost the purse. She thought her trip would have to be canceled until Abbie returned it. Rim took Abbie’s picture with her to Cambodia to show everyone her American angel.
The head of the Bank of Maine, who read in a local paper about Abbie’s fondness for pop star Justin Bieber, decided to reward the girl’s honesty with free tickets for her whole family to Bieber’s sold-out concert this fall in Boston. The Marriott Hotel in Boston has offered to put the family up for free when they attend the show.
