I don’t know how this is going to end with the printer guns, bupt I fear that it won’t be good. I’m afraid it’s already too late. There are probably computer savvy people who have or can get blueprints. They may have 3-D printers. I’m not optimistic that they can or will recall 3-D printers and add software to prevent it from churning out a gun, and who knows if they’ll even put such a restriction on new printers?
I hate to be a pessimist, but if software can be added to a printer, people will figure out how to remove it or get around it.
The stable door is open and the horses have not just escaped, they’ve run all the way down the highway. 😢
(BTW, those old John Wayne and other Westerns that the gun nuts seem to love? They probably don’t realize that most of those Old West towns had…….wait for it…….gun control.)
