Virginia police on Thursday arrested 31-year-old Colin Small, who was spotted tossing completed voter registration forms in a dumpster. The Republican Party of Virginia is saying they had nothing to do with it. They just hired a consulting firm to help people register to vote. The felony is the fault of Pinpoint, the consulting firm that hired Small. Pinpoint, on the other hand, is saying that Small, a voter registration supervisor, is just one rogue employee, so it’s not their fault. But isn’t it interesting how often single rogue employees cause these sorts of problems whenever the GOP gets involved with voter registration?
BTW: The state attorney general cannot investigate this unless the Board of Elections requests it. And, of course, the Virginia State Board of Elections has decided not to ask the state’s Republican attorney general to investigate whether the state Republican Party had a hand in this. Oooooooh — big surprise…
