The Wilmington, Delaware police barged liked storm troopers into the wrong house, looking for a man who was a “person of interest” so that they could get a DNA sample. He had given this address as his own, the police did not do any kind of due diligence or research to see if this was correct, and they were not even in their own jurisdiction. This man was located later in Smyrna, was given a DNA swab, and released.
This was not a case of barging into a house with a SWAT team to arrest an imminently dangerous person, or even someone for whom an arrest warrant had been issued. They wanted a DNA sample! And they did not even notify the Middletown, Delaware police, in whose jurisdiction the family lived.
Welcome to the Police State, people. This is becoming more and more common.
