Apparently, there are so many drivers who totally ignore the blinking red lights and school-bus “arm” that is extended when they stop, that some counties in this state are installing cameras on school busses to catch those @ssholes who blow past stopped school busses that are picking up children.
And isn’t this a shame. People, stop for school busses, slow down when you are near a school, watch for children, and for that matter, watch for pedestrians anywhere. You are driving a lot of steel. People, especially children, are very fragile. No matter where you are driving, it is NOT more important than someone’s life.
