I don’t know of anyone who is happy with the TSA and their mistreatment of people at the airport. Now that they’ve moved into the train and bus stations as well, it may not be long before people stop traveling anywhere they can’t drive. I used to wonder how an arm of the government can continue to operate with so many complaints lodged against them. Now I know: they don’t release their complaints! At least, they didn’t. Now they’re being forced to do so, although they’re stalling as long as they can. For example, a reporter at ProPublica requested copies of TSA’s complaints through the Freedom of Information Act four years ago. TSA just now responded.
Government is typically slow, but this is ridiculous! Darn poody heads…
The TSA is an embarrassment to everyone. They have far over-stepped their bounds in airports, and have, in my opinion, bordered on illegal search and seizure for a long time.
